Fairly clean, traditional hotel, I greatly enjoyed fairly quiet and bright rooms and unobtrusive staff. The property was not far from all nearby cafes, restaurants, pubs and certainly the beach, shops, beach, train station and restaurants and prom walk along coast to Estoril thanks to its unbeatable location. Tried some nice meals at Shabu Shabu, located just walking distance from the hotel.

location of the hotel, views and swimming pool on the hotel roof.
treatment by the vast majority of the staff, parking offered and conditions of the parking. It is a public car park that has an agreement with the hotel, disadvantage is that you have to queue at least 10 minutes in the middle of the main street of the center to enter the car park because there are people who despite putting full in the car park stays at the entrance waiting for a free place, blocking the entrance for those who are customers of the hotel and have their place fixed. To avoid this it could be regulated in some way, by the car park and hotel. Another thing that we didn't like is the treatment received by the hotel staff when we gave them the complaint about the parking lot after having been waiting 20 minutes to enter it. We understand that being a public car park these things happen, when you pay for your parking space as soon as you arrive at the hotel (which is the first time this happens to us, paying for it as soon as you arrive at the hotel) you don't expect to find this unpleasant situation on a daily basis. Another thing that happened to us one day was that after we arrived at the room around 3 pm the room was not made and we told the cleaning staff in a good way and they answered us badly and laughing. next day we returned later leaving a margin of time and room was again unmade. We had to wait a long time in the reception and we don't know if the hotel works like that because in other hotels we have been in we haven't lived any of these situations.

hotel is located right on the promenade, offers wonderful views of the ocean, mansions. Opposite the hotel there is a small beach. Relatively close to the railway station. It is convenient to get there. Close to the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants to suit every taste and wallet. Nearby are parks, under the crown of trees where you can hide from the heat. nearby town of Estoril is about 20 minutes on foot along the promenade. There are several beaches on the way to Estoril... hospitable staff. Feeling welcome. Instant check-in. Tale of the hotel's amenities and services. key to the safe deposit box. Room's clean. Cleaning daily. plumbing was working properly. There were no interruptions with the Internet. Dense curtain that keeps the room warm. Functioning air conditioner. Breakfast isn't very varied, you won't stay hungry. I was glad to have a coffee machine. There's enough room for breakfast. They clean up the dishes instantly. You can sit right on the terrace in front of the hotel overlooking the ocean. It's a good start to the day!
No kettle in the room. Safe is not electronic, code locked. You have to carry the key with you at all times.

We were already in Cascais, but at another hotel. On this trip, there was no doubt where we would like to stay, only in Baia. We were not mistaken: the location is above all praise, friendly and friendly staff, delicious varied breakfasts, daily room cleaning and change of towels. The sightseeing bus to Lisbon stops right next to the hotel, you can buy your ticket at the reception - very convenient! There are many cafes and restaurants near the hotel, where you can eat delicious meals, and the pastry shop with a huge abundance of cakes, cakes and all kinds of small cakes is a dream! Weather is a fairy tale: the sun, the ocean, everything blooms. In general, if we still gather in Portugal, it will be only Cascais and Hotel Baia.
I can't say I didn't like it, it'd just be more comfortable if there were a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang up your clothes when you go to wash... On our arrival (early April), the lack of a small refrigerator in the room was not a drawback, but I think in summer we would like to have cold drinks in the room.

Hotel Baia offers a fantastic ocean view and its rooftop bar makes for a lovely relaxation spot. Noise from nearby bars can disturb sleep, and the Wi-Fi connectivity issues were frustrating. A pleasant stay despite these drawbacks, especially for the friendly service and clean rooms.

Fabulous location without the cost of hotels typically in such great locations. The hotel had everything one needs for a great break without all the extras that end up costing much more.
Wireless in the rooms would have been a great addition.

The stay was fantastic with highlights like the cozy room and a delightful full breakfast with fresh pastries. We spent relaxing afternoons by the pool and enjoyed the rooftop movie nights, which were such a fun surprise! The only downside was the somewhat firm mattress, but overall, it was a lovely experience. 😊
